In 2011, Devdatta made his debut TV show appearance as Tanaji Malusare in Veer Shivaji. Later, in 2014, Nage was cast in his first Marathi language theatrical film appearance as Avinash Waghmare in Sangharsh. The same year, Devdatta was cast in his debut Bollywood film as a cop in Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobara!.

His film and television credits include Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Devyani, Adipurush, Tanhaji, and Satyamev Jayate.

In 2015, Devdatta won the Zee Marathi Ustav Natyancha Award for “Best Actor” for his work in Jai Malhar as Khandoba.
